Where modern design meets nature
Built into the ruins of a traditional Shetland croft house
Westshore was originally designed by Richard Gibson of Richard Gibson Architects as a holiday home for a private client.
Now it is available as an escape: a place to unwind, to explore, to create, to watch Shetland’s ever-changing big skies.
At certain times of year Westshore is available for longer creative stays.
The peace, solitude and wonderful light at Westshore make it the perfect environment to be creative. Space and time to live and work for artists of all kinds — be it through writing, drawing, painting, designing or making.
